With my Own Eyes

Godless, faceless, under the sands
An eternity in desert king’s lands
The man outside hold no worth
As we dream inside the earth
Mindless mind of a corpse
The ground shifts and warps
But this place stays the same
Senile elders, take the blame

These are my prayers
These are my fears
A face in the water
Genesis, my body’s potter
Will I never see my own light?
This is my home, stone and spite
My lover, cold slab with chains
Dust flowing through my veins
Now I break bread with my own malice
Kings are not welcome inside this palace

Godless, faceless, under the sands
An eternity in desert king’s lands
The man outside hold no worth
As we dream inside the earth
The mindless mind of a corpse
The ground below shifts and warps
But this place stays the same
Senile elders, take the blame

A court of light and cold wind
Bare bones, the flesh skinned
Ornamental eyes looking down
Foreigner’s gloves upon my crown
This was supposed to be a flight
Away from Earth, star’s light
Now I lie inside my tomb
Rot forever, untended wounds
Will the visitors let me leave this time?
Or will they take what's left of mine?

You will never leave
This is the place we despise
I will never leave
I will never see my own eyes

I can hear Disturbed singing this. That's a high compliment; Disturbed is one of my favorite bands.
