Very Good News!

I just got back from the hospital. It's been determined to be very minor: "silent heartburn", which I hadn't been able to detect due to a stomach acid control medication I'd been taking, is making me have what's essentially a form of acid reflux, explaining the ongoing throat irritation. The doctor was really nice and told me how I can elevate my head when I sleep to help gravity work against the buildup of acid in my throat. I'll be fine in due course, in short. I hope I didn't worry anyone too much; in the back of my mind I was fearing it was a return of my old illness, since they never were able to determine its cause and I'm always worried it might return, but it's definitely nothing of the sort.
Still, I can't help but this is all just my body playing a really shitty April 1st joke on me. XDD
